why study with me?
The secret is...... there is no secret. If you want to excel at anything, including music, it takes practice. Whether you want to strum through a Beatles' song, play a heavy Zeppelin riff, write your own song, or improvise a convincing rock, blues, or jazz solo, it all takes effort. During 30 years of teaching, 25 of those at Berklee College of Music, I have gained insight in helping students achieve their goals quickly.

I will show you exactly what to, and maybe more importantly, how to practice to gain the skills you desire. I believe whatever style is your passion, whatever your goals are, we all need a solid foundation. I will help you build that foundation through a methodical approach and while playing the music that you love.
